Appstore hits 2 billion downloads

The appstore has just surpassed 2 billion download and I presume, unless the appstore dies, this will continue to get much higher. The appstore now has over 85,000 apps and 125,000 developers behind it.
Steve Jobs quotes that:
"The rate of App Store downloads continues to accelerate with users downloading a staggering two billion apps in just over a year, including more than half a billion apps this quarter alone.
